We love a friendly competition here at Oakleaf. All of our departments recently decorated pumpkins for our pumpkin contest. Our residents were the judges and picked their favorite. The nursing department came in first place with their Wizard of Oz display!
Yesterday we presented the Alzheimer’s Association with a check from all of the proceeds from our annual spaghetti supper. We sold over 150 meals and raised $1,272! Thank you to everyone who helped make this event successful!
We had a great time visiting the pumpkin patch today on our joy ride! Some of us just love Pumpkins and all the places to see them!

We got crafty this morning and made ghost mason jar lanterns! Thinking these will definitely be spooky! Fall offers so many wonderful and different ideas for crafters!

We have been baking and enjoying delicious seasonal treats over the last few weeks. Some of our most recent have included pumpkin brownies, fall frappes, cobbler, German pretzels, and pumpkin chocolate chip bread!
Yesterday was Golden Arches Day. We celebrated by taking a bus ride to McDonald’s to pick up some hot fudge sundaes!
