Ashley has worked in the assisted living industry for over 20 years. While in college for business, Ashley worked for a small assisted living community where she found her passion for seniors. She joined Oakleaf Village in 2003 as our Director of Administration and later transitioned to the role of Executive Director.
Keren Pickard
Sales and Marketing Director
Keren Pickard has been at Oakleaf Village since 2013. With over 20 years of experience in the senior living industry, Keren brings a wealth of knowledge to those interested in our community. Keren’s favorite part of her role is helping new residents and families transition smoothly to assisted living and memory care.
Katie Griner
Sales and Marketing Director
Katie Griner joined the Oakleaf Village team in 2023. She has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry with roles in the medical equipment, hospice and senior living fields. Katie had an appreciation for Oakleaf Village before she even joined the team, as she had interacted with the community in her previous roles. In her current position, Katie enjoys being a resource for senior living in the local community.
Kenny Hill
Food Service Director
Kenny has compiled over 30 years of experience in the culinary field and is dedicated to providing our residents with delicious and nutritious meals. He has been a part of our community since 2001 and has strived to form valuable relationships with our residents and provide them with an exceptional dining experience.
Virginia Richards
Director of Resident Care
Virginia “Jenny” Richards RN, BSN has been a part of Oakleaf Village since 2004 when she began as a 2nd shift Caregiver and moved her way up to quality control. She became the Director of Healthcare while earning her nursing degree. Jenny’s fondest memories of her time at Oakleaf have been the relationships she has made with our residents and their families.
Christie Newman
Business Office Manager
Christie joined our community in 2004 after a career in both home health care and the hospital system. She began her journey with Oakleaf Village as a Caregiver and Med Tech before transitioning to administrative roles. After time spent as both Lead Receptionist and Assistant Director of Administration, Christie assumed her current role as Business Office Manager.
Jaimie Townsend
Activities Director
Jamie Townsend is the Activities Director at Oakleaf Village of Lexington. With over 18 years of enriching lives through recreational therapy, Jamie’s expertise shines. As a certified dementia specialist and former nursing assistant, she found her true calling in creating joy-filled moments for seniors. She loves to nurture relationships with residents and their families while making Oakleaf Village the best place to call home.
Tonya Meetze
Memory Care Director
Tonya has worked at Oakleaf Village since 2002 when she started as a 2nd shift caregiver, and was quickly promoted to Med Tech Supervisor as she attended college. She found her true passion in life while caring for our Memory Care residents and has served in this role since 2018.
